Join Sarah, with special guest Liza of Peartree flowers out of New York City, for a 2-day floral intensive workshop in Portland, Oregon April 26th and 27th. With a combined 20 years experience as top event floral designers, Sarah and Liza will take you deep into design philosophy, mechanics, color theory and design structure along with business how-to’s.

We will explore design and mechanics for personals, centerpieces and large ceremony installs without the use of floral foam. You will learn the importance of product choice, building the right foundation and discuss design elements like color theory along with mindfulness in design. Sarah teaches in an easy to understand and practical manner, giving you foundations of design and then allowing your personal creative style and interpretation to come through. We will design mostly with local spring flowers.

Course will also include a styled shoot of your work for your portfolio. We will have a model to adorn with your personal flower creations, a beautifully designed tablescape for your centerpiece and a unique ceremony install to photograph by a local professional photographer!
